The role will be working for a consultancy embedded into a federal government client. You will mostly be working with that consultancies team and over time you will get to know them pretty well. They're a tight knit bunch of people with a variety of backgrounds including defence, intelligence and other completely different industries, all bringing together their own methods of doing things.
So what are going to be the main tasks of this role?
In a nutshell, you will perform end to end development of Cloud Platform Software. In particular the role;
- Develops the Cloud Platform Codebase as directed by Team management
- Identifies and fixes bugs within the Codebase
- Develops and executes tests as directed
- Ensures appropriate cost and security controls are included in the Platform Codebase
The role will touch on other areas in security as well such as IAM, DNS and network design.
What do you need to bring to the table?
Currently hold active NV1 clearance (or higher).
All proposed candidates need to hold an active NV1 or higher clearance, enabling them to start contributing to the project without delay.
Highly Desirable Experience:
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in:
• Cloud native, with an acute understanding of Agile & DevOps models and methodologies
• Automation & Infrastructure as code experience with CFN, ARM, Puppet etc
• Configuring or migrating applications and workloads to the cloud environment
• CI/CD pipeline and support tooling experience
Highly Desirable Certification: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience), AWS Certified DevOps Engineer -Professional or equivalent
